new year...

Over Christmas myself and ben moved in together. very nice very happy...
spent new years eve quietly (after working till 10.30) with ben.....how you spend your new years eve is how you will spend the rest of the year
last year i spent it crying.....hmm..
so yes we now have a nice home. and its happy. expect some pics.
still doing my masters and desperatly trying to do stupid essays....
new years resolutions...
be happy.
no junk food.
and uhhh.......save money.

hey all, long time no journal.
anyway. just wanna say merry christmas to everyone lets hope next year rocks.
i have to say the end of this year is certainly promising
i shall explain everything once everything has gone through
But lets just say- this is what its supposed to be like....
i have quite a few pics to post from when we went to Talley abbey (near teepee valley)
and also from the storm in aber
anyway i better go christmas shopping-im very last minute heehehee

a sofa...

so today took some cool pics of a sofa armchair thing on the beach, it had just been abandoned but looked like some sorta modern art my mother would have been involved in!
anywya as soon as i can get my phone to upload onto my computer then i will put them on here.
went surfing today, blew away the cobweds. ace. the surf is so good today proper blowey and nice
really really loving my masters...
and haev decied what my phd title is going to be 'the reception and audience for Asian
horror in the UK.'
so if anyone loves asian horror like ichi the killer, old boy, the ring, a tale of two sisters etc etc etc then get in touch and ill use u as guinea pigs

Life Begins.......

well...
i have met loads of people so far in uni, my flatmates rock. i live with a guy called Tom whos weird, a guy called Barney whos a right sarcastic git but ace, a guy called Dave whos from Tanzania and is pretty cool and two finnish girls who make me laugh. I have a pet fresher called clive hes funny. really into his motorbikes which is funny and he never stops talking about them-hes juts gone to buy a royal enfield which is cool as i remember me and alan looking at them months ago. shame alan didnt get one cos they seem pretty nice. Spending loads of time with Sam and hes real sweet. And made a SHOCK HORROR female friend. Kay is like me...only funny. she does one of my modules which is nice, shes crazy!.
halls are OK, as in we have had two power cuts since i have moved in...power cuts just in our block.
seminars are FUCKING AMAZING! im really enjoying them. its great to be able to air my opinion and know its counted and meaningful. also have been l;ooking into doing a PHD since there is no over assertive people to try and stop me doing what i want with my life anymore, and think im gonna go down that route and then....move away.
I have dyed my hair for the first time since me and alan got together...and have become addicted to straightening!. i love my hair....
and then theres the whole kev-ellie-kev-ellie thing. for those who dont know we were engaged two years ago and split up cos of the strain of distance and stuff, but were meeting up next week to talk stuff over. he has said he never stopped loving me, and i guess i have never stopped loving him. he made me whole. and i have never really invisaged me being with anyone else. and he really hasnt been with anyone else. hmm...anyway lets see what next week brings.
work is ok....going on to nights at the end of oct cos its more hours/better pay/less work.
